Three men convicted of taking part in attacks on public buildings and carrying out operations on behalf of Israel and the US during antigovernment protests in January have been executed, according to Iranian media.
The men were identified as Hassan Dioband, Hamid Kazemi and Reza Zanganeh, according to the Fars News Agency.
They were accused of using firearms, grenades and Molotov cocktails, setting fire to public facilities and damaging an electricity substation in the city of Karaj, causing power outages in some areas, according to the judiciary.
The executions are the latest in a series Iran has carried out in recent months related to the January protests, including of people accused of links to Israel and the US.
