British police reported the arrest of more than 300 people during a protest in support of the banned pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action outside the U.S. Embassy in London.
On Saturday, hundreds of demonstrators gathered near the U.S. Embassy in south London to support Palestine Action and protest against the actions of the U.S. and Israel in the Middle East. Police had warned that they would arrest participants in the unlawful demonstration.
"A total of 325 people were arrested yesterday. The vast majority of the arrests , 320 , were made for expressing support for a proscribed organization," Scotland Yard stated on the social media platform X.
