The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi, declared on October 24 that the Islamic Republic will achieve "absolute victory" in the war that the United States and Israel are waging against the Persian nation.
"By God’s leave, our destiny in this apocalyptic war is absolute victory, and, God willing, we will become the world’s superpower," he stated during a conference for the Armed Forces in Qazvin province, as reported by the state news agency IRNA.
Mohebi warned that the confrontation "could have consequences beyond Iran's borders and also affect the fate of other nations," while noting that "the enemies' objectives" go beyond the military sphere, encompassing Iranian identity, culture, religion, and civilization.
In this regard, the spokesperson emphasized that Washington and the Zionist regime seek to "weaken and fragment Iran" by attacking its Iranian and Islamic identity. "They want to weaken our identity, destroy our culture, and replace our values and models with their own," he stated.
Citing statements made by Donald Trump regarding Iran, the general pointed out that the conflict should be understood as "a clash of civilizations," in which "defending the country is not limited to protecting geographical borders, but also extends to preserving the nation's culture, religious beliefs, and historical identity."
