US President Donald Trump clams that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to cease attacks on energy facilities.
"Effective immediately, there is an energy ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it!," he wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The Russian side has not confirmed this information.
Earlier, on September 14, Trump had already announced an "energy truce" between Russia and Ukraine; however, at the time, neither Moscow nor Kyiv confirmed the existence of such an agreement.

Volodymyr Zelensky has released a lengthy statement on Telegram in which he repeats his support for an energy ceasefire and Ukraine's readiness "not to strike at Russian energy".
"We count on Russia's similar readiness and on the agreement of the President of the United States of America on this. We welcome such an agreement," he says.
"Ukraine has proposed many de-escalation steps. Putin said one thing to everything: it was his 'no'. We really hope that he will finally tell America, Ukraine and the whole world something different."
