Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says Tehran is not seeking an endless war or prolonged negotiations with the United States but will fight until its demands are met.
In a televised speech, Ghalibaf said Iran intends to negotiate to create “sustainable deterrence”, according to the state broadcaster IRIB.
Separately, he said in a social media post that deadlines set by the US government, including the economic pressure campaign on Iran, have all passed and the Islamic Republic is still functioning.
