According to the Financial Times, the Houthis claimed responsibility for launching dozens of ballistic missiles and drones at the site on September 6, describing the move as retaliation for Saudi drone strikes on Yemen.
The refinery has not been operating at full capacity since late July, when earlier attacks damaged the tank storage area and the energy complex.
