"The maritime exclusion zone extends from the port of Chabahar to certain areas of the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea," stated Hossein Mohebi, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
He added that any vessel transiting this zone would be subject to sanctions if it did not coordinate its passage with Tehran.
