U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that no one in history deserves the Nobel Peace Prize more than he does, maintaining that his actions averted a potential "total annihilation of the world."
"Not only should I receive it this year, but there has never been anyone in the history of the Nobel Prize who deserves it more. I did it. I ended eight wars and perhaps averted the total annihilation of the world," he declared to the press from the White House.
The president added that "Iran will never have a nuclear weapon."
