Issues regarding U.S. shipments of interceptor missiles to Ukraine may have arisen due to obligations to allies or internal security concerns, according to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
At the same time, he emphasized that this does not amount to a deliberate refusal to provide the supplies.
Rubio also suggested that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth might withhold authorization for the delivery of missiles, already paid for by European nations, due to a need for them "elsewhere."
It was previously reported that the head of the Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is attempting, with the help of senators, to persuade U.S. President Donald Trump to lift restrictions on intelligence sharing and resume the supply of weaponry to Ukraine.
