Poland rejected accusations from Lithuania regarding a Ukrainian UAV

Polish authorities have dismissed as groundless the claims by the Lithuanian side that a Ukrainian drone may have entered Lithuania from the direction of the Polish border.

This was reported on October 19 by the television channel Polsat News, citing Poland’s Ministry of National Defense.

Warsaw’s response followed statements made by Vilnius on October 19, in which the Lithuanian side alleged that an unmanned aerial vehicle that crashed in the north of the country had likely crossed the border from Poland.

Janusz Sejmej, a spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of National Defense, officially refuted these suggestions, citing data from objective monitoring systems.
