The Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the terms of use for Starlink by employing the system to carry out drone strikes aimed at killing people, Elon Musk stated.
"This loophole was closed last week."
He emphasized that using a civilian commercial service for such purposes "was never permitted and should not be permitted." The businessman added :
"If Starlink were to be shut down, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is not a threat, but simply a statement of fact."
He pointed out that there is a separate military system, Starshield, and that only the U.S. authorities have the right to decide how it is used. At the same time, Musk added that if Starlink were to be shut down completely, Ukraine’s defensive line would collapse immediately.
Finally, Musk sharply criticized those who advocate for the prolongation of the conflict:
“I have nothing but the utmost contempt for the hypocritical, spiteful warmongers who call for endless carnage while offering no realistic solution to the conflict. Go to hell.”
