Houthis hit Saudi military headquarters at Aden Airport with ballistic missiles

Ansar Allah forces have targeted the Saudi officers' headquarters at Aden International Airport with ballistic missiles, with impacts confirmed at the site.

Aden is the seat of Yemen's internationally recognized government ,  and the airport has served as a key Saudi military hub throughout the war.

The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen says it has intercepted and destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile north of the capital, Riyadh.

In a post on X, the coalition spokesperson, Major-General Turki al-Maliki, said the missile had been launched by the Houthis.

Al-Maliki also said that the coalition was tracking the launch platform using its intelligence systems over Sanaa and would destroy it.

Oil prices are continuing their upward trajectory, with Brent crude futures gaining 93 cents, or 0.92 percent, to reach $101.51 a barrel as of 00:22 GMT.

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude went up 82 cents, or 0.92 percent, to trade at $90.25.

The gains came as the market weighed supply constraints from a storm heading for US oil-producing regions and attacks by Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis on Saudi Arabia against increased supplies of Middle East crude, according to the Reuters news agency.
