Houthis claim attack on Saudi warplane near Saada

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree says in a brief statement on X that the group’s forces recently targeted a Saudi military plane.

He claimed that the plane, a Eurofighter Typhoon, took off from Taif airbase in western Saudi Arabia.

“It was targeted in the airspace of Saada governorate [northwestern Yemen] with an air-to-air missile, struck directly, and is now at risk of crashing”, he continued.

There has been no confirmation or statement on this claim from Saudi coalition authorities.
